Possible Plug-in Hybrid Convertible Announced by Fisker

Fisker has announced a new concept vehicle called the Sunset or Karma S, but revealed no technical or design details about the car, and has only offered a partial detail photograph.

Looking at the photograph it appears that the car does not have a b-pillar. This along with the name Sunset, indicates that it might be a convertible. The pronounced wheel arch and sharp character lines hint at the car’s sporty character. Read more

Japanese professor has showcased an electric car capable of reaching a blistering 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4 seconds, quicker than a Porsche 911.

The Eliica, created by Prof. Hiroshi Shimizo of Keio University, can also reach a phenomenal top speed of 370 km/h (270 mph), powered by li-ion batteries via 100 hp electric motors in each of its eight wheels. Read more
